Stage 15 - Campbell River to Courtenay

Overview

Riding out of Campbell River along the waterfront won't be the most exciting, but it will offer some fantastic views of Quadra Island. The pace of stage 15 will be relaxing and comfortable as you keep in line with the local traffic.

Anywhere along the waterfront makes for a good meetup location in Campbell River.

Food and Coffee

Dick's Fish and Chips is a local favourite, and there are many other options in Campbell River.

Scenery: 3/5

Riding along the ocean just goes hand-in-hand with a great motorcycle trip, and Campbell River has a great stretch of road that follows the ocean for a good 15 km. Afterwards, you follow the secondary highway through country roads and wide open fields.

Traffic: 2/5

The trouble with riding through cities is that you have to deal with the traffic. Stage 15 is no different as you pass through 3 smaller cities with their fair share of tourists and RVs.

Difficulty: 1/5

No challenge here. Stay the course and you'll find yourself at the end of Stage 15 in no time.

Road Conditions: 5/5

Well maintained secondary highway road with very little heavy truck traffic or wild temperature swings to damage the road.
